Paris is sorry for bashing Kim K’s backside

Just 24 hours after she called Kim Kardashian’s derriere “disgusting,” Paris Hilton issued a heartfelt apology to her former BFF. Speaking to In Touch, the celebutante explained that she now regrets the backside bashing.

It all started Monday morning when hosts from a Las Vegas radio show asked Paris is she’d like to have a bottom like Kim’s renowned rump. The always-quotable heirhead quipped, “I would not want that — that’s gross.” To make sure she was absolutely clear about the famous rear, Paris added, “It’s disgusting. … It reminds me of cottage cheese inside of a big trash bag.” Ouch.

Once she had the chance to reconsider what she said, and after celebrity blogger Perez Hilton posted a snippet of the interview for all to hear, Paris decided an apology was in order. “I was just joking around and I made a stupid joke,” Paris told In Touch. “I felt really bad afterward, so I contacted Kim and apologized. It was a silly thing to say. Kim's hot!”

The magazine reports Kim accepted the belated regrets. “Paris and I have been friends since we were kids and I'm glad she made the effort to say she's sorry,” the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star said.
